View Full Version : I learned something the hard way last night

Last night I went to the usual dive bar that my friends and I frequent almost every weekend. The place is lacking a bit on atmosphere, there's some teal on creme sponge paint technique going on with the walls, and in a half assed attempt to give it a dance club vibe, someone put up two 4 foot long black light tubes above the bar. As I was pulling money out of my wallet at the bar, I noticed the blacklights revealing some sort of white stain all around the crest of my hand between my thumb and index finger. Not only had I not spanked it before the bar, but if I were to, I generally don't spunk all over my own hand. I quickly turned to my side to block the light, paid for my drink and took off to the bathroom to wash my hands. No luck, still just as visible. But it hit me... I had just brushed my teeth 5 minutes before leaving for the bar....I use baking soda and peroxide toothpaste, and I know for sure I used way too much and it was running all over the toothbrush handle etc. The peroxide was likely the culprit. No problem, I'll just keep my right hand out of sight all night and be fine. And I was..... until my girlfriend points out I have a white stain around my lips, running down the corners of my mouth.

I know for sure I used way too much and it was running all over the toothbrush handle etc. That is one of the grossest bathroom habits. Completely unnecessary too. I hope this does not happen to you on a regular basis.

Bothers me as well. It only happened because I was in a super hurry, my friends had already been ringing my doorbell for a few minutes. By the time I got my books, I give myself a look I'm at the corner just in time to see the bus fly by.

You need to use less toothpaste and close your mouth. You don't need to use more than half a pea to a pea-sized amount of toothpaste. My dentist told me once about how much money people would save if they knew that... and that she suspects that's the reason behind the enormous amount of toothpaste placed on toothbrushes in commercials. Glad to hear you keep it clean though. People who leave toothpaste crusties in the sink and on the toothbrush drive me crazy. I really hate toothpaste a lot.

bad teeth kill it for me. If you can't brush at least 2 times a day, I am out of your league.
