Bioshock is badass as expected. It's crazy playing as the big daddy the whole time, mainly the shadows/noises when you get hurt/ foot steps/jumping.

im not used to the controls with this though. iron sight with r3, really? i cant see anyone actually using the iron sight in this game. ill play this MP though to get to 40 and prob never play it again. bad company 2 will rule any online play i do for a very very long time.

haha i havent spent much on gaming at all really over the years. most of it was all done on burned pc games years ago when i was in school, until i got my ps3 i hadnt even really played anything much at all since the first year or two of the ps2. i do have a heap of ps3 games on ebay at the moment though that i know im never gonna play again, just cutting my collection down to my absolute favourites.

i go through gaming phases the same as reading books, it'll be all i do for a while then i just get sick of it

anyway, ya, i play a lot of video games and i dont paint anymore. ps3 doesnt really have much to do with me not painting though as im just burned out from painting millions of little squares. i also only work 2 days a week at my job, so i have A LOT of free time. i dont need a second job nor do i want one. i still go to the gym and work out almost daily and eat healthy. i dont have much to do on the weekdays cuz all my friends are working for the most part and some of them want to hit up games at night, so ill hop on and play with them even though ive pretty much been on all day.

the guy in the vid seemed all butthurt cuz he got fat and would rather of played games then spend time with his gf/wife so she left him. if i had other responsibilities in life, there would be less video games, but right now that isnt the case.

yeah pretty sure I'm gonna get BC2 for the PC now. I dl'd the demo on all 3 systems and PC wins out by far. Nothing beats the mouse/keyboard combo for a shooter like that.

its alright for about 6 hours of mindless fun. i thought the stages were pretty cool looking and the combat is a little bit like god of war. upgrade system is a tiny bit like dead space nodes where you cant upgrade one thing until you upgrade another thing. lots of titties in the game. the most WTF part of the game was fighting some huge ass bitch and babies with blade arms crawled out of her nipple. the second play through wasnt nearly as fun though. its def a rent and not a buy.

Hahahaha.....dude I don't know what was going on with me connecting, I still haven't even played any multiplayer in bioshock, i've only tried that once. My internet was fucking up so i restarted the modem/router and you guys had already started so i said fuckit and played some worms. It's definitely a versatile game with a lot of people. If my s/n is on and playing worms, I usually have at least 3 people playing it. I'm on Fontaine Futuristics and planned on beating bioshock today, though. People come and go from my house all the time, and I'm sure the majority of the time you see me online it isn't even me.

edit: Hahaha...I don't know - I'm sure they'll go through a billion covers first, i just typed in "gt 5 cover" into google image search and that was the first thing to come up.

Beat Bioshock 2 today. I absolutely loved the whole end sequence. For the people that might play or are playing it, I highly recommend doing the whole end Persephone level straight through. I won't say anything else.

I played it saving the sisters the whole time through, so for anyone that beat the first one expect sort of the same shtick. I also got the "big brass balls" trophy for not using any vita chambers, didn't realize I didn't die once. I think I'm going to buzz through it on easy real quick to do a Harvest run and get all the journals, weapon upgrades, and plasmids. Should be able to plat this one within the next week (no 8bit).

dalb, you do know to get to level 40 online you need about 25-30 hours of play time. not sure if youll be able to plat that next week with that time commitment. thats if you dont suck at online too. im averaging like 650 adam a game, but if youre only doing like 300 or something, itll take longer.

finished it on hard last night. i recommend playing it on medium with vita chambers off, then play it again on hard with them on. i barely even bothered with little sisters, harvested maybe 5 of them and didnt bother collecting any adam with any of them.

hit rank 17 last night, just got the last 3 rank trophies to go, then plat. also i just platted borderlands and darksiders, so im only 1 behind you now with eat lead and saw on their way to me.

oh and dalb you only need to get 100 diaries, theres quite a lot more than that in the game so you dont have to find all of them

kz2 was a fuckin bitch to plat. i had to play about 35 hours that week to get it in. and about 25-30 of those was straight boostin. you can keep track at their website.

the number of ppl doesnt matter really. the less ppl that play the lower the number is to get into the top 5% so youre screwed either way. youll need to find a partner if you want to get it.

edit: not to mention beating the game on elite. the final stage took me 7 straight hours to beat. i thought it was harder to beat than w@w. i did heart of the reich in about 2 hours.

Yeah, I started it at level 50, the first enemies I encountered were level 52 and beat the shit out of me in seconds... Level wise is does seem to be scaled, but they're way tougher compared than what you'd expect them to be. Mind you I'm playing single player because I don't know anyone with a PS3, so that may make it harder?

There are some pretty sweet weapons I'm finding, but you're going to die a LOT (and it's not just a case of me sucking apparently, I've read elsewhere that many people are getting their asses kicked). I've found a couple glitches though, like talking to people, it's animated like they're talking, but there is no voice (nothing important thankfully), and I was trying to drive back to another zone but I couldn't get through where the blockade shield I shut down previously was, it was like the shield was active but invisible. Minor things like that, the only real thing that bugs me is so far there are no warp points, where you start it up you're back to the beginning of the DLC and have to drive all over again.

*oh yeah, some guns in the store? $9,999,999.00. No special ability like ammo regen either.

luckily i just beat bioshock and was really only gonna fuck around on the multiplayer for the next few days. this is pretty stupid and it's gonna affect me watching the wire on dvd. i dont even know if mine is affected but i dont wanna risk it. im really close to finally platting a game (ratchet and clank a crack in time) and if i lose the trophies ill cry

That'd really suck dude. The closest I'm to platting a game is Infamous with 75% of the trophies and Uncharted 1 with 70 something % of the trophies.

As long as you synced up your trophies to your profile you shouldn't lose any of your trophies. Problem is, most people not only don't do that, but don't even know how too.

I had done that in the past but not recently. I don't even care about the trophies so much as I want to make sure I can use my PS3 again soon. I've been on that shit a lot lately, brudder.

I dont play non-sports games much, and I dont really mean to come off as a dick, but why do people care so much about trophies and points achievments and all that? Doesnt all it do is show that you have played a certain game for hours on end and squeeze all the juice out of it. Like who besides the person playing cares about that.

Having said that, I totally get being pissed if you care about it and spent countless hours trying to achieve it and it getting wiped out

yah i dont have many trophies but i have 40000 achievement points on 360 and i'd prolly cry a bit if i lost um

i don't care about trophies or achievement points but i can see why people do. it's a cool concept and it pushes developers to add a bunch of random extra shit they might not have without them.

i'm stoked for this. playing the gameas a catcher should be sweetand i like what they've done with the create a player. starting in aa and working your way up is an awesome addition. the new commercial is pretty good too.

normally i dont really care about them, but a lot of times ill get a lot of trophies on the first run through, which will entice me to try and get them after i beat the game. ive never gotten all of them in a game though because the time investment usually is just too great. i tend to get bored with games after the first 1.5 run throughs
