What kind of acrylics do you use?

mostly liquitex with some premiere. although lately ive been lazy and using folk art (cuz of their wide color selection) because im so tired of mixing custom colors. i seriously have about 100 little tupperware containers with all custom colored mixed paint and yet it seems like i still dont have some shades to match the game im painting.

jesus.

i just found out that Golden give me a perma-boner. they are awesome cuz they are kinda thin. Kinda remind me of a butter-y consistency. This could be bad seeing as the 1 oz bottles cost about $8

i use a medium to thick body to cover up the grid i put on the canvas. we dont have golden around here at all. paint can be pretty expensive, especially like winsor and newton. when i first started painting, i would go to this old ben franklin crafts store and buy the paint there. nothing but little old ladies worked the registers and always manually punched in stuff when checking out. so i would switch price tags and get big bottles for like $2. although they ended up going out of business, lol.

I thought the title of that video was using "Painting" as a verb, and was then disappointed.

yeah, i know that wta. i usually keep like 6 or so shades of each color around plus some odds and ends and if i cant match it up then, ill usually just mix the whole tupperware container to that new shade color.

that cheetos thing was pretty cool.
